"Did you know there are over 300 words for 'Love' in canine"

Gabriel Zevin

Lifelong Pet Person

From a childhood filled with guinea pigs, hampsters, rabbits,
and the family dog,
to
an 8 year career as a competitive equestrian,
horse breeder and trainer,
to
a parenting life filled with rabbits, cats and dogs...
I have always been a staunch animal lover.

Caring for Your Pets Too

I am happy to bring my many years of experience with animals
to caring for yours as if they are my own.

I have just recently lost my beloved little terrier, age 15 1/2.
It feels like I am missing a limb, and I would love to have the care of pets to help fill the hole she's left in my heart.
Milly Brown

Experienced Equestrian

Picture
I would love to find a place with an equestrian family,
that would be the most ideal job imaginable.
I competed from age 15 to 23, in Canada, riding first Arabian, then fully into Dressage.
My initial training was with Zoltan Sztehlo, then I worked with the protege of Dr Otto Bode (Vienna School) Rosemary Reed,
moving on to train with Pat Deptford and Leslie Reid.
Bode, Sztehlo and Reid were all Canadian Olympic dressage team members.
I had to stop competing, age 23, for health reasons, which is what led me down the path to studying Chinese medicine.
It would be my very great joy to find a job that involves horses.
I can drive a rig, and would be an asset as a show groom.
My first stable job was on a stud farm (and I had my own broodmares),
so I am familiar with breeding and birthing.
I am very happy to take on the feeding, cleaning and exercise needs of any pets.

I usually walk between
2 to 4 miles daily,
so any dog in our care would be given plenty of fresh air,
and all the fun of local footpaths.
