How Chinese Medicine Found Me
I was definitely not looking for it, definitely not expecting it, and it wasn't so much a choice as a calling to my vocation: I never anticipated that I would end up studying Chinese medicine. In my early 20's I spent 3 years travelling in Asia, Australia and NZ, a year of which I lived in Japan. Travel does, and always will, fulfil my great appetite for adventure, and never in all my years growing up did I imagine life would bring me here to this leg of the adventure - 20 years living in Oxford, and now living in London! I'm still travelling... |
Pay It Forward
I often refer to my "Community of Care", the immense calibre and quality and the well of great kindness that is my network of colleagues. It is the shining example of the two women in this story that has inspired the ethos of my practice: to care - over and above all else - to provide care. I feel so fortunate in my work, that it leads me to engage with others who share this passion to help. I am propelled by the legacy of this story, for it is the care that I received then that still thrums through my everyday now... |
